The coordinates of the pitchers mound (taking home base to be the origin) are 60.5x(0.707…, 0.707…).

The coordinates of first base are (90, 0), so the distance to first base is |(90-60.5×0.707, 60.5×0.707)|

The coordinates of the second base are (90, 90), so the distance is |(90-60.5×0.707, 90-60.5×0.707)|

The distance to third base is the same as the distance to first base.

These distances (magnitudes of vectors) can be calculated as the square roots of the sum of the squares of the x coordinate and y coordinate.

I have created drop down boxes in Excel. When I click on the cell that contains the drop down box, the arrow appears on the right. When you go to a different cell, the arrow disappears. How do you display these arrows at all times so that the user knows which cells have drop down boxes available?

In Excel 2003: you can show FORM Tool Bar
(menu: View > ToolBars > FORM )

Select / Click an Tool-Icon called ComboBox
With your mouse-pointer “Draw” a rectange in sheet.
A permanent ComboBox is now on your sheet

Right-click the Combobox ; choose “Format Controls…”
from context-menu.
In Tab Control :You can set INPUT RANGE, and Cell Link

Alternatively you can “draw” COmboox from
Control ToolBox ToolBar
The Properties of this ActiveXcontrol can be set from
their Properties Box.

I scanned a needed document and saved it to Microsoft Document Imaging so that I can make changes to it as needed. I was able to make the needed changes, but when I print it, all of the little dots are still covering the page. I thought that they were just shown on the screen when editing, not actually printed with the document. How can I make changes and then print a crisp, clean looking document without having to redo the entire document manually?

Printing an image? You can’t really help it…
Only way is to photoshop it a lot..

Instead just run OCR on image and convert it to text, fix the errors and print it.. cleanest document you’ll get.

There are hundreds of OCR services and softwares around so I won’t list them here.. Just google them out..

I just missed part of the latest episode of Drive. I missed the part where the woman with the baby was about to shoot the blonde girl, then she grabbed the gun from her and it cut to a commercial break. What happened exactly? When I came back the girl and woman where standing next to eachother talking to the owner of the race. Someone explain it to me plz!

they made a pack… the blonde girl saw that the mom was playing to win no matter what the cost where the 2 black women where kinda on a Sunday drive.. the contract was to make sure the blonde was not in the car with the 2 women or moms was out..so moms recruited the blonde it was the only way to stay in the race without killing the blonde so now moms and the blonde are team mates and the 2 black women are out…hope that helped
