Klite-Headwall Divide

Granite towers in the area between Portal Peak and Klite Peak on the Klite Creek-Headwall Creek divide, north of Toba Inlet. Portal was attempted in the 1930′s, then John Clarke and John Baldwin climbed these peaks in the 1980s. Don Serl and Clarke made one attempt on the south buttress of Klite after that, and since then… nothing.
The original photo was shot through the plane window and was very, very blue. I have tried to correct the colours but it’s still a little unnatural. I hope I can get in here to go climbing someday. The closest I’ve been able to work to this was about 40km.

It is absurd to divide people into good and bad. People are either charming or tedious.
